Description

A writer can do so much with voice. Narrative voice, dialogue, narrating dialogue, conversation, speech, sound, position, tone, control, power, theme, arc, plot, point of view, perspectiveโ€”what are these things and how do we make use of them with voice alone? This workshop will take a close look at what a writer can do with voice, and how to bring the practice of voice into our own writing, or simply for a reader to appreciate the behind-the-scenes mechanics. (For beginners, and for more advanced practitioners.)
