Mikka Jacobsen
Mikka Jacobsen is the author of the story collection Good Victory (Freehand Books, 2025) and the essay collection Modern Fables (Freehand Books, 2022), which won the Alberta Book Publishing Award for Non-Fiction. Her work has appeared in PRISM, Joyland, The Fiddlehead, Prairie Fire, Canadian Notes & Queries, The Missouri Review, and Lit Hub, among others. She teaches at Alberta University of the Arts and lives in Calgary, AB, on Treaty 7 territory.
