A festival is only as good as its friends. When you become a Friend of the Festival, your early vote of confidence in us helps in two key ways. First, your financial support means we can immediately begin pursuing the writers we are keen to present in Halifax during the festival—the earlier we can secure their commitment, the better. And second, you’ve heard the old chestnut about there being strength in numbers? It’s true—your interest and support helps us approach sponsors who can give us the operational muscle we need to make a good, solid festival that will be able to provide programming to readers and writers in Halifax for years to come.

• A pass that allows entrance for one to most festival events, including author conversations and readings, along with a specially priced ticket for our annual festival brunch event

Please note that we will not be selling Friends of the Festival passes this year. They will be back in 2022 (when we hope to be in person again)!
